Hi everyone!
I'm Jonathan, from Switzerland.
I'm in classic cars for more than 10 years now, having own german cars, english cars, and more recently italien cars (driving a GTV6 at the moment).
Even if the GTV6 has a fantastic engine, I realise it's not my type of car... i'm looking for something more elegant, more discrete, but yet with a real engine.
I feel that the Fulvia is exactly what I'm looking for! And where is the best place to buy italien cars? In Italy
I'm looking for an S1 car, or maybe an S2. I'm after elegant colors, like blue, grey, metallic or not.
I'm in contact today with two persons from Italy. One in Milano, selling a gorgeous S1 dark blue, and someone from Torino selling his S2.
Both are interesting, both are in the same price range, but I need advices from local now. So if someone could reply to my questions (even in Italien), it could be very appreciated.

I have a good contact for the vendor. The underneath has to be restored. I'm thinking of doing it directly in Italy, as you know those cars better than we do! All the parts are available in you country, so it's probably the best to do. All the documents are ok. I received picture from the engine bay which looks good.
Question: how much do you estimate the price of the body job? The seller told me that for 3000euros, seat restoration + underbody restoration can be done... It sounds low to me

I like this one. It's not far from where I live (4hs), I also have a good contact with the seller. He sent me tones of pictures. BUT... the underbody has been repaired, with what he called "antirombo", he says that it's common to see this done on italien cars. Here is Switzerland, when you see that, it means rust! And usually, it doesn't pass the expertise.
So question is: what your thought about antirombo? Does it hides something?
One last question: is there anyone living close to Roma and ready to go and see the S1 car in person for me, and taking photos? I'll pay 100€ for this job.
Thank's A LOT for everyone who read the entire message
